This is after being kicked off of Lake Irving, part of the Mississippi before the larger Lake Bemidji, by an unmanageable wind. But we're amphibious, Maddy and I. (Maddy's the canoe.) We got to the place where the river leaves Lake Bemidji safe and sound, by bike.
